If we consider one of the fundamentals of the biblical regime to be a respect for the fertile core and of building an institutional system for preserving that core, then how would that biblical regime deal with the fertile core that is the full ethno-diversity of languages and cultures on the planet?
The assault of modernity and the Industrial Revolution on the world's traditions represents an ecological disaster of monumental proportions. What we have going on all over the planet is a wholesale Gresham's Law working, with bad money everywhere driving out the good: myopic, brittle and individualistic systems driving out far sighted, resilient and sustainable systems.
It doesn't really matter whether you subscribe to the notion that your spiritual system is the only true system or just the best of many possible true systems. Hubris characterizes either approach, and they are both wrong.
