Wisdom is lodged not in believing that one's own teachings are superior to all others'; wisdom is lodged in knowing how it is that all others' teachings also contain kernels of truth no less profound than one's own. The jealousy of other spiritual systems lodges not in their truths but in their institutions, in the avodah, the service.
