Desert is what we live for

Desert is the ground of the non-material. It is the essence of the soul of the whole. It is why we need a God.
Desert is what we live for. To fulfill and pay down our debts is what keeps us going in life.
God is not so much the prime mover as He is the prime donator or, better put, the prime contributor, the First Giver. On account of His beneficence all of mankind is in an unrelenting state of endebtedness, which we feel as an impulse and as an instinct to deserve.
