Unearned property

By connecting property to deservedness what we are sayingis that taking unearned value is, in some sense,  theft. It is not property, per se, that is theft; it is the hoarding of property which was unearned that is theft.
The stricture against hoarding is not about property and not about sharing the wealth, it is about recognizing what is unearned and passing it along to others who also did not earn it and must therefore continue to pass it along.
