Whereas schizophrenia is the experience of the world denatured of meaning, paranoia is the experience of the world where meaning is pregnant but beyond comprehension.
Paranoia is the sense that meaning is being kept secret: it is there, it is just not there for me. A super-abundance of significance. Everything signifies something but exactly what that something is, is being kept from me.
God is trying to tell us something and everything is rife with His communications, it's just we don't understand what He's saying.
