Stewardship is to ownership as exchanges is to markets.
Stewardship respects the value in the thing being valued rather than craving the value in one's own desires.
Something durable that must be nourished and improved and cultivated and matured and elaborated has to be brought into being and made beautiful and then let go and passed on.
