Too much subjectivity and the world disappears into mere manifestations of one's inner life; too much objectivity and the world becomes this dead thing that is utterly alien from oneself.
A living and lived world comprehends both the subjective and the objective.
A well en-god-ed world has the makings of such a whole-istic purchase on oneself and one's reality.
Such a world is first of all sane.
