Cherish

• The value in the marketplace we call 'worth.' 
• The valuing in covenantal partnership we call 'cherish.' 

We don't so much value our wards as we cherish them in the exercise of stewardship and trusteeship and guardianship and leadership and partnership. 

To cherish is to value in one's heart, inalienably.
