A proper sense of duty

Neither the Euro-leftists nor the Islamic fundamentalists have a proper sense of duty.
The Euro-leftists hate Europeans for the capitalism they believe alienates the working class from its power over material things; the Islamic fundamentalists hate Europeans for the colonialism they believe alienates the non-Europeans from their power over each other.
The Euro-leftists don't feel a sense of duty to strengthen the working person's political sense of authority; the Islamic fundamentalists don't feel a sense of duty to strengthen the non-European's material sense of creativity.
The centrist attends to the doing of duty both materially and politically. The centrist promotes pride and authority. By shifting the matter of honor from the political to the material, the Western centrist has arrived at a strategem for dismantling the system of honor/shame and power/challenge.
Objective rule of law, on the other hand, shifts the exercise of personal power to the management of impersonal, disinterested power, viz, authority.
