Not to acknowledge what is false as false is like failing to prosecute crimes.
These are duties of authorities to the people. That's why, thirty years ago, the Republican Party was making such a fuss about law and order. It went to the liberal authority's unwillingness to prosecute punitive justice.
Today both the right and the left are failing in this domain. They do not proclaim what is false as false and they do not prosecute violators of just laws – the left with respect to external allies like the Arabs, the right with respect to internal allies like the military contractors and the homeland security contractors.
