The proper approach for Israelis is to begin to form alliances in the Arab world with the families that have honor but are not deeply connected to oil money.
Israel needs to begin to lay down the framework for who will be in power when the oil tap is turned off.
Who will acquire the positions of honor in the Arab world? Now is the time to begin to identify the key players, the power brokers, and to privilege some while excoriating the rest.
