Equal opportunity haters

The Palestinians' leadership is as power-hungry and as corrupt as any other leadership in the Middle East. The habit of accepting the corruption and the viciousness of the Middle Eastern regimes, of overlooking their criminality and lack of legitimacy in the face of manifest evidence of their venality, is a direct consequence of the world's oil dependency. It is not antisemitism that is working here, it is the entire program of the petrarchies that is working here. The Arab antisemitism is just icing on the cake. 

The Arabs are equal opportunity haters. They villify the Christians, if not as much as, then approximately with the same fervor, as they villify the Jews. The world's willingness to overlook the felonies of the Jewish state's enemies comes not from their hatred of the Jews but from the Left's willingness to yield to the unreasonable postures of the Arab notables as they pretend to victimhood while, all the while, claiming superior honor and domestic power and salving it all with oil money. When asked why are Israelis oppressing the Palestinians the answer is more than why are you beating your grandmother, the answer is you're a dupe of the oil interests. Absent the oil propaganda, you would not be overlooking the unrelenting oppression by the elites of the Arab masses; you would not be submitting to the distraction of the 'plight' of the Palestinians in the face of the venality of that leadership and of the corrupt nature of that weak, Arab society. 

The oil interests have bought excellent public relations talent and they are messing with the heads of suggestible people everywhere, especially among the weak minded leftists in the academies or the weak minded secularists in the salons of Europe.
