Man needs to be creative in the world whereas God needs to be creative of the world.
The totalitarian ruler gets the two – the 'in' and the 'of' – confused and refuses to be limited by the material and practical constraints of being in the world. Instead, he wishes to alter the very nature of the world, at no matter what cost.
