The free market model, like the effective decision-making model, presumes no prior knowledge about what is right and what is wrong, what is prefered and what not.
In fact and in deed, that's not how things work.
We already know much about what's right and what's wrong, and what we should and shouldn't do.
The hard part is figuring out how to propagate our values about what is right and wrong to an entire population.
