The hands of Fate

  • The pleasures of short-term gain at the expense of long-term loss of enjoyment is the way in which Fate tempts the naïve (left-wing) pagans of Mammon.
  • The relentless story of honor lost and recovered is how Fate ensnares the (right-wing) pagans of Destiny.
  • The hand of a loving God Who rules with loving kindness is the only remedy to the hands of Fate.
The Hebrews differed from the Greeks because the Greeks submitted to Fate whereas the Hebrews served a God Who carried them above their Fate.
