Anti-Semitism is a better bugaboo for extraction distraction than the usual suspects – capitalism, global financiers, the West, etc – because the fiction of a world-wide Jewish conspiracy is less true, and thus more easily susceptible to being shaped to the propaganda needs of the strongman rulers than the typical, genuine threats to local role that generally shape the world's geo-politics these days.
