As the forces of collapse approach it becomes more and more important to exercise the virtues of leadership.
The challenges of entrepreneurship are similar to the challenges of leadership under conditions of general societal collapse. It is crucial to be able to carry an image of institutional structure in one's inner vision. The difference between entrepreneurship and Messianism is Messianism’s need for combat. The entrepreneur can focus entirely on building and doesn't have to worry about defending against adversaries while he's building. The leader against the forces of collapse must foremost be a warrior and at the same time he must be a visionary for an alternative future.
In times of collapse it is most important for leaders individually to establish for themselves strong family units that can serve as the bases for strength and determination and conviction. The grid will not be functioning so the clarity of purpose will be occluded, the tools and instruments of power-wielding will be broken, and the usual levers of the social order will be disarticulated. The more basic and simple and primitive relations and values and virtues will have to serve as guides.
Rough justice and frontier honor will rule the remnants of social/political/economic collapse.
