God's Presence and the fertile core of inert things

The notion that labor as a resource has an ethical dimension which land and capital lack presumes that natural and financial resources are inert systems which lack a living, fertile core whereas human capital must be managed more delicately. The biblical regime imputes a living, fertile core in everything that goes into the creative process. Where the land, the natural resources or the money do not obviously convey a living need for sustainable nurturance God steps in and imbues them with His Presence. That Presence makes for a more vital social universe than would otherwise be the case. God's Presence corresponds to the right hemisphere's holistic way of seeing the world.
