The con game is all about the interminable pursuit, about sustaining incompletion indefinitely. 

Satiation is embodied in Shabbat because Shabbat celebrates completion, Shabbat forces completion, Shabbat is the interruption of the process that requires one to arrive at completion and nail it down.
