Humility allows you to make yourself small enough so as to be able to pass along to someone else, as an act of grace, what was given to you. Humility lets you become the medium.
Rather than someone else being an instrument of your ultimate objective, it is you who becomes the instrument. Humility allows you to enhance your dignity by ceasing to aggrandize it.
