... 'the Environment' had begun to seem like an obscure deity ... Can it be that God actually represents that spiritual essence that needs to be preserved in 'the Environment' that is an obscure deity?
God is spirit of the Other because whatever one's spirit is, one lives in the context of the spirit of one's environment, which is 'other' and thereby contextual. God cares that we steward the spirit of the environment because that spirit is He.
Environment consists of the raw materials of the productive process, the entropic forces that degrade what was produced, and the organizing forces that preserve the essence of what was produced.
