Arab Zionism

The Arab peoples are suffering from a general cultural collapse. The Jewish People not more than 150-200 years ago had also felt similar problems. Zionism was a response to the general cultural collapse the Jews of Europe had begun to recognize. Two thousand years of oppression had begun to take their cultural toll, and Zionism was a brave attempt to repudiate those centuries of Jewish humiliation.
The Arab world needs more than its own Protestant Reformation, it needs its own form of Arab Zionism so that the Arab world could reclaim a glorious future out of a long, shameful, and humiliated past.
The Arab ruling elite foments virulent anti-Zionism because they are afraid their peoples will become infected with the promise of self-determination Zionism affords, and they shudder lest their own people become released from the oppression of their own humiliation.
