The history of extraction

  • Economic systems started in agriculture, which was a renewable technology but also subject to extractive excess.
  • Economic systems then moved to manufacture, which employed a more serious dependence on extraction.
  • Economics systems then developed into a more purely extractive system of oil and finance economies, which just recently burst.
  • What comes after the burst purely extractive systems collapse should be a system that respects the sustainability of productivity by managing the accumulation and disbursement of surplus.
