Unfailing and general

"Plato's belief that knowledge must be unfailing and general led to the position that we cannot know things that are changing or particular." (The Master and His Emissary, Iain McGilchrist, 2009; page 272). 
That Platonic notion is left-hemispheric, and is the root of the Rabbinic divergence from the biblical.
