So long as the Jewish people's exile preserved their polity the diaspora life was tolerable. When the Nazis stripped the Jews of even that, then either the exile had to come to an end or the people had to come to an end.
When the religious leaders, as they have been doing for more than a century, attempt to prolong the exile they are, in effect, working to eliminate the Jewish people once and for all.
