The problems of abundance

Entrepreneurship is about young companies that need to grow by solving the challenges of scarcity. Large incumbent companies suffer from the problems of abundance. Too little of what is being transacted in can be assigned deservedly to those who had to earn their rewards.
The trouble with maturity is not monopoly power, which is really a defect in competition. The problem is it is difficult to assign property rights in a sensible way.
