Non-renewable flows

Sustainability is really about funds generating renewable flows.
Non-renewable flows are really the liquification of stocks designed to simulate the funded generation of flows. That liquification is unsustainable.
Liquification translates something that has no time dimension attached to it – a stock – in something that is implicitly and necessarily in the time dimension – a flow. Anything that is happening in the temporal dimension is necessarily and implicitly sustainable. Prices have units of time built into them.
The abuse of power the resource curse engenders is all about suppressing the measure of time in the operation of the productive sector. The resource curse is the manifestation of such unsustainable liquification of non-renewable stocks. The hoarding despots must distract the system from recognizing the unsustainable character of their regime.
