To be judged by one's actions and opinions

To devise a world where one can "live in a framework where one is judged by one's actions and opinions", where one can "belong to some kind of organized community" (The Origins of Totalitarianism, Hannah Arendt, 1994; page 296) is the objective of the biblical regime.
YHWH is there to safeguard the context of community so that actions and opinions and belonging to community are made possible. That is why a proper reading of miqrah reveals God as functioning in a political capacity rather than as an ethical exemplar.
