A variable measure of otherness

Is the universe defined relative to some external, fixed point as Aristotle would claim, some diety, some divine quintessence, or is it relational and defined only with respect to itself and its own self-organization as Einstein would claim?
The Bible says neither.
The covenantal paradigm understands sanctity as a variable measure of otherness. The otherness, which measures distinctness, is bridged by the covenant, which measures connection. So the fixed point is not absolute because the otherness is overarched by covenant but neither is it insignificant because the relational laws are highly constrained.
