The property rights of the divine

Every right in society corresponds to the general duty in that society for the members to honor that right. A right without a corresponding generally accepted duty is hardly a right at all.
The sabbatical year represents an alteration in the rights of private property but more important it represents a regular exercise of duty on the part of the leadership to respect the property rights of the divine.
