Between Aryans and Semites

Racial superiority was a theory that explained legitimate authority in a world that had lost the traditional explanation of legitimate authority coming from the divine right as bestowed by God on the aristocracy. If the aristocrats no longer deserved the privileges of the ruling class, the ruling Aryan race would have to step in to fulfill that destiny. 

The Aryans deemed themselves superior because they are white. They therefore had the most contempt for the black and yellow races. They however felt most threatened by the Semites, who, they believee, were a hybrid race – white, but contaminated by the blood of the black races. The true battle in Europe was between the Aryans and the Semites. Aryans are anti-Semites in the strict definition of the word. 

Racism is a simplistic, superstitious, anti-democratic response to the collapse of the ancien regime. Market economics is another, different sort of response to that collapse. It assigns the desert of the ruler to the might-makes-right of market competition rather than to the might-makes-right of racial dominance.
