Product and process

It is controversial whether compensation should be the only determinant of the decision-matrix. What counts as a determinant of the decision-matrix defines how we choose what to consider, and it defines whose interests factor into those considerations.
  • What happens when we do things for the sake of engendering a certain attitude toward decision-making?
  • How do we handle the expenditure on overhead that applies to process?
  • How do we care about process?
In a world of scarcity, the product has value relative to the process; in a world of abundance, the process has value relative to the product.
Abundance and scarcity, product and process, content and context – all these are covenantal partners that define a social universe.
