War, aggression and distrust

Love and tolerance and understanding are all values important for maintaining peace but beneath those values, if we would learn to stop warring and oppressing each other, we have to adopt the perspective of abundance and security while discarding the perspective of scarcity and threat.
So long as we understand the world as a struggle for scarce resources where your neighbor is someone who will likely be your enemy or, at the very least, your adversary, we will be stuck in the endless cycle of war and aggression and distrust.
