The solidarity of the nation

The ideological battleground of the 20th century was race-struggle vs class-struggle. The racists used supra-national adventures propelled by imperialism to gain control of their national patrimonies. They then proceeded to slice apart the internal national body politic under the cover of racist programs of aggression against 'inferior' peoples.
Race-struggle and class-struggle each undermine the solidarity of the nation. The racists, by tearing apart the nation from the inside; the Marxists, by incorporating and thereby dissolving the nation into larger international agglomorations.
